The 40 Days for Life Fall Campaign of fasting and prayer vigils is approaching --September 23 – November 1 to ask for God’s intervention to end abortion. Through 40 Days for Life prayer vigils, more than 17,200 babies have been saved and 107 abortion centers have closed since 2007.  Join the pro-life community in prayer, fasting, and vigil hours. Prayer vigils will be outside five different abortion facilities in San Diego County. St. Luke's day is on Mondays.  Contact Pat Riggs at cprm4life@gmail.com.

September 20th is Catechetical Sunday ~ a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism, in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. We honor our awesome volunteer catechists and aides who are dedicated to this mission as a community of faith. Fr. Ron will give them special recognition at a Welcome Back Faith Formation Families Mass on Wednesday, October 14th.

Faith Formation Registration is in place.  We do acknowledge the tough decisions and insecurity about back-to-school options. Several of you have shared that you feel conflicted about the decisions that are in front of you. So much depends on the particular circumstances of your school district, your immediate community, your family, and your child. I get that it's a really complex decision, and we as a society, need to do everything we can to help parents to make this type of decision. The truth is that even we can’t make guarantees or promises about our Faith Formation program. We can assure you though that we will take the necessary precautions — beginning with doing as much outdoors as possible, maintaining physical distance, and wearing masks at all times. PLEASE ENROLL NOW even if you're still wrestling with in-person or online sessions. Your action now will help us more effectively prepare for your child's faith education. We're adding an incentive: Those who have already registered and those who register by Fri, Sept. 18th ~ 3 raffle ticket opportunities for a Family Fun Gift Basket. Those who register by Fri, Sept. 25th ~ 2 raffle ticket opportunities. Those who register by Fri, Oct. 2nd ~ 1 raffle ticket opportunity. The winning ticket will be drawn on Wed, Oct. 14th at our Welcome Back Faith Formation Families Mass. You must be present to win!
