Dear STL Family,
As we continue to adjust to this new reality, our daily lives and routines are constantly being reshaped. When February comes to mind, I shift my focus to Love is in the air and it's all around us. But it starts within us, within our hearts and minds, and hopefully flows through our thoughts and words in the form of
PRAYER and ACTION. Here are a few ways we could show our love for others, ourselves, and unite our voices this month of February:
- Feb. 5th, 6-7 pm ~ A family evening of Adoration & Witness at STL on 'God's front porch' and hosted by our Knights of Columbus
- Feb. 8th, all day ~ World Day of Prayer, Reflection, and Action against Human Trafficking. Pray with your family that we may all work together to remove the causes of this disgraceful scourge that is present in all our cities and neighborhoods.
- Feb. 10th, 6:30-8 pm via Zoom ~ In the midst of today’s turmoil, the voice of Pope Francis, inspired by many other faith leaders, rings out loud and clear, through his encyclical Fratelli Tutti- Sisters and Brothers All. The Diocesan Office for Life, Peace & Justice is bringing together voices from various faith traditions to speak to different aspects of our present national and world reality, as the voice of faith, hope, and justice. - Feb. 13th, 2-3:30 pm ~ The Diocesan Office of Family Life & Spirituality invites you to the inaugural diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass! Join us to renew your commitment in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. A special invitation is extended to couples celebrating a major anniversary. No RSVP needed. Bring a chair & mask.
- Feb. 17th-March 24th ~ Vigil hours 7 am - 7 pm. Come and spend an hour in peaceful prayer; STL's Parish Day is Monday, but any day is okay!
