Dear STL Family,
Advent, a season of joyful expectation before Christmas,
a season of hope knowing that Christ will come again! I know two families who have waited in hope for many, many months ~ The Aguilar and Mc Carthy families have been preparing through our Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) to be received into full Communion with the Catholic Church. We will formally welcome them this Sunday, the first Sunday of Advent. Join me in congratulating Madyson Mc Carthy, Danielle Aguilar, and her daughters, Kayla, Carolyn, and Ella Aguilar on this joyous occasion.

Poinsettias beautifully decorate our church on Christmas and are a special way to remember loved ones, both living and deceased. Your donation also helps with our Christmas Decoration expenses.
* Donation for small poinsettias are $25.00,
medium $50.00 and large $150.00.
Envelopes are available after Mass or donate online at https://stlukeelcajon.weshareonline.org/ and click on Christmas Flowers. List the names of your loved ones in the comments section.

In the next few days look for The Giving Tree list of Store Gift Card needs for our Human Services Partners. Your monetary donations through STL's online giving will directly serve clients of Crisis House, Interfaith Shelter Network, San Diego Youth Services & El Cajon Collaborative Member Agencies
