Thank you, Lorraine Flint!, 10/23/20

Dear STL Family,

Fr. Ron asked me to share this news with you. It's a note dated October 19th from Mike Wasyliw:

I received a text message yesterday evening from Jimmy Flint, son of Lorraine Flint, that his mother Lorraine passed away last Monday, October 12, 2020, at 2:30.
Lorraine was an incredible advocate for our neighbors in need--especially those who needed food, clothing, housing, a listening ear, etc. Just a few of Lorraine's acts of kindness included: weekly fruit & vegetables were delivered to Lorraine's home that she distributed to her local outdoor neighbors.
A few years ago she made SVDP aware that there was a need for food, clothing, hygiene supplies, etc for persons who were living in the storm drains in the El Cajon area--her local outdoor neighbors helped to distribute these much-needed food & items.
Each Thanksgiving Lorraine & family would cook a few turkeys and invite her local outdoor neighbors for a celebration. During the Christmas holidays, Lorraine would get donated hams to make ham sandwiches and goodie bags for her outdoor neighbors in need.
Lorraine will be deeply missed and may she rest in peace. She deeply lived & loved the gospel message of Matthew 25: "What you do to the least of my brethren you do unto me".

Mike Wasyliw, SVDP St. Luke Conference

At this time, we don't have any information on funeral services, but together let's pray for the repose of her soul and comfort for her family.

With a very grateful heart,

Jane
Thank you, Lorraine, for blessing all of us!
