May 13th is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.
In 1917, the Blessed Mother appeared to three shepherd children in Portugal. Over the course of many months, she revealed herself to the children and implored them to spread the message of repentance and to pray the Rosary daily for the souls around the world. On October 13th, 1917, during the last of the Fatima appearances, a crowd of 70,000 witnessed the sun dance, spin, and fall - an event called "The Miracle of the Sun."
